London Coliseum Theatre – The Night and The Music – 1945
An original programme for the revue The Night and The Music at the London Coliseum, dated 17 May 1945, just days after VE Day.
The bill features comedian and violinist Vic Oliver, with Beryl Kaye, The Nine Avalons, Worthy and Jarrett and the Van Phillips Orchestra.
A programme from the very end of the war in Europe, when London’s theatres were celebrating, this is an evocative theatre programme and a great piece of wartime variety history.
