Manchester Free Trade Hall – Prom Concert 1907
An Edwardian programme for a Prom Concert at the Free Trade Hall, Manchester, dated 9 March 1907. It comprises two sheets of paper separated at the spine, and it is unclear whether any pages are missing.
The Free Trade Hall was Manchester’s leading concert venue and the home of the Hallé Orchestra.
Early twentieth-century concert programmes from the original Free Trade Hall are scarce, as the building was gutted in the Blitz, making this an appealing piece of Manchester musical history alongside collections of old theatre programmes.
