Liverpool Empire Theatre – 1950 – Morecambe & Wise
A variety programme from the Empire Theatre, Liverpool, dated 17 April 1950, featuring Morecambe & Wise, Jon Pertwee, Peggy Ryan and Ray McDonald.
In 1950 Eric and Ernie were still working their way up the variety circuit, while Pertwee was a popular radio comedian. An early Morecambe & Wise bill makes this a desirable theatre programme and great 1950s theatre memorabilia.
