Liverpool Royal Court Theatre – While The Sun Shines – 1945
An original programme for Terence Rattigan’s While The Sun Shines at the Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool, dated 21 May 1946. The cast includes Ronald Squire, Peter Cushing, Neil Crawford, Bill Logan, Arthur Seaton and Shelagh Fraser.
Rattigan’s farce follows a young earl on the eve of his wedding whose plans are thrown into chaos by an American airman and a Free French officer.
An early stage credit for Peter Cushing makes this an appealing example of old theatre programmes from the post-war years.
