Blackpool Central Pier – Let's Have Fun – 1957 Morecambe & Wise
An original programme for the summer show Let’s Have Fun at Central Pier, Blackpool, in 1957, starring Morecambe & Wise. Also appearing are Maureen Rose, Dennis Spicer, the Three Bells, Kenny Baker and Joan Turner.
Blackpool pier shows were where Eric and Ernie honed the partnership that would make them Britain’s favourite double act.
Pre-fame Morecambe & Wise programmes are keenly collected, and this is a lovely example of old theatre programmes from the great days of seaside variety.
