Wilvor Formation Dance Team Souvenir Letter – 1948

An original souvenir letter from the Wilvor Formation Dance Team, dated 9 June 1948.

Formation dancing, in which teams of couples perform synchronised ballroom routines, was enjoying great popularity in post-war Britain, when dance halls were at the heart of social life. A charming piece of entertainment ephemera.

If you know more about the Wilvor team, we would love to hear from you.
