London Royal Court Theatre – Cromwell – 1973 – Postlethwaite
An original programme from the Royal Court Theatre, London, dated 15 September 1973, for David Storey’s Cromwell, with its ticket stub. The remarkable cast includes Albert Finney, Pete Postlethwaite, Brian Cox and Anne Dyson.
Storey’s play follows soldiers drifting through an unnamed civil war, a meditation on loyalty and conflict rather than a history of Oliver Cromwell himself.
