London Prince Of Wales Theatre – The Vicarage – c1870

A Victorian programme for The Vicarage at the Prince of Wales Theatre, London, from around the 1870s.

The cast features Arthur Cecil, Mr (W H) Kendal, George Honey and Charlotta Addison, all familiar names from the celebrated company that made the little Tottenham Street theatre fashionable.

Programmes from this era of London comedy are increasingly scarce, and this is a charming example of old theatre programmes from the Victorian stage.
